A delegation composed of construction field entrepreneurs and architects coming from Corsica will visit the exposure stands of Marmotec fair in Carrara Fiere complex on next 19th and 20th may.
This appointment  follows the visit of the Corsican entrepreneurs delegation occurred in September 2009. As in the present occasion, the visit in September was organized from the Bastia Chamber of Commerce which had inspected the logistical infrastructures of the area and their possible applications in the marble field.

During  Marmotec  fair the spaces of the exhibition complex will be visited by the Corsican delegation thanks to the Pimex project, which was financed  with more than 1.8 million of euro from European Union. The aim of the project is to sustain and facilitate trades of territories bordering the high Mediterranean sea, developing new business relationships between Italy and  France and rationalizing transports and portuality.

The Corsican delegation,  together with representatives of all project partners (Districts of Massa – Carrara, Livorno, Lucca, Cagliari; Municipalities of Olbia e Savona, Chamber of Commerce of Bastia), will take part to the foreseen events of the 2010 Marmotec program, with particular reference to the seminar “Characteristics  of Italian marbles – Production conditions and applicative solutions” which has been expressly organized for the Corsican guests.
