The gigantic Perlini dumpers will be on show for the first time at the 45th edition of Marmomacc, scheduled at VeronaFiere next 29 September-2 October.
An important occasion for one of the world leaders in the sector and the only producer of off-road dumper trucks in Europe today. The reasons which encouraged Perlini Equipment to attend Marmomacc include the possibility of meeting operators with important quarrying activities in countries such as India and Turkey, which the Italian manufacturer views as among the most promising markets in the future. Perlini Equipment exports three-quarters of its vehicle output all over the world, often customising them to meet the needs of clients. It can be quite safely said that Perlini dumpers are used in mines or sites of major works in every continent. The Italian manufacturer was founded in 1957 and exported its first dumper as early as 1969 to China, then still an unknown country and a commercially impenetrable entity.
At Marmomacc, Perlini Equipment will display its flagship rigid DP705 dumper - a vehicle offering an effective load of 65 tonnes equipped with a 12 cylinder diesel engine with a displacement of almost 24 litres.
The Veronese manufacturer also recently finalised the extension to Great Britain of the distribution agreement covering its vehicles with Volvo Construction Equipment Europe. This agreement is already operative in Austria, Bosnia Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Ireland, Moldova, Portugal, Rumania, Slovakia and Slovenia.
Four rigid Perlini dumper trucks will be available in Great Britain (DP405, DP605, DP705 and DP905) with load capacities between 40 and 100 tonnes. The agreement signed between Perlini Equipment and Volvo Construction Equipment does not mean that the vehicles of the Italian manufacturer become part of the Volvo offering and equally retain their characteristics and traditional white livery and brand. The Swedish manufacturer, on the other hand, provides a complete technical support network to clients through fixed and mobile assistance centres, as well as the spare parts distribution network.
Maurizio Perlini, Sales Director of the Italian company, said: "This is a win-win situation for Perlini, Volvo and clients: from our point of view, we now have broader access to the European market, while clients benefit from a consolidated and global after-sales support network."
