Contemporary Modern-style house is situated in the Swiss Alpine village of Lumino just north of Bellinzona, which was completed by David Macullo Architects, this house stands as a monolithic element, silently echoing complement and context. Surrounding area is characterized by a traditional stone built houses, many of which date back centuries and is characterized by the use of these construction materials sole.
 

The new house is intended as an answer to a relevant and contemporary interpretation of the vernacular; affected by considering the strength of reinforced concrete and respected presence resonates old stone houses. Sitting on the edge of the old village, home to act as a sort of old fort between the core and the modern settlement expansion.
