Kamil Mrva Architect have designed Stone Home design the conversion of an old barn into a studio to work and living in Kojetín, Czech Republic. This plot is located in the middle Kojetín, close to Nový Ji? Inside, on a hill with views of the surrounding landscape. The goal is to reconstruct the former investors warehouse into a place to work and live in the first phase, and build new family homes around the future. Original sandstone walls and pillars from 1862 have been preserved. A concrete ring designed to reinforce the roof of the shed a light anchor. Inside the original building, a square structure was established – the studio. This inner timber buildings open to the south and west with a wall of glass. Composition of different elements is projected on the terrace of the garden sloping terrain.
 
Single-space concept is based on how our ancestors used to live in this area. All of these needs being treated in one room living room, kitchen, living room and a place to sleep and work. A kitchen, dining room, sitting room with study and bedroom with a bathroom designed in the living room. On the terrace there is an enclosed space to sit in the summer and sunny outside the project board. This project was designed using natural materials. Lightweight load-bearing structure and a roof made of wood, while the ventilation façade made of cement-bonded particle board Cetris. Glass parts of the buildings are made of insulated, double-pane windows with aluminum frames of the same color as the façade. terrace consists of steel beams and a wood deck.
