On December 2nd 2010, over 800 people from the design community (designers and manufacturers) gathered at the visually stunning IAC Building, NYC, designed by Frank Gehry, to celebrate the best projects and products of 2010.

Porcelanosa was honored to have products on display which in turn, granted us the opportunity of being selected one of the honorees for the ‘Best of Year Product Design' which was selected via an online vote of interior designers and architects. Porcelanosa won a merit award for the category ‘Wallcoverings: Other' with our popular new tile ‘Qatar.'

The winners were announced live by hosts Cindy Allen, Editor in Chief, and Mark Strauss, Vice President and Publisher. All the winners including Porcelanosa will be featured in the first-ever commemorative keepsake book due out in late spring/early summer of 2011. The ‘Best of Year' voting site received approximately 25,000 unique visitors, producing more than 135,000 page views, and generating 55,000 votes. Porcelanosa wants to thank each individual for taking part and voting for us.
