Hyatt International has opened a 20ha, RMJM-designed hotel complex on China Beach in Vietnam.

A 200-bedroom hotel is designed in the image of a small village, with rooms clustered in three-storey blocks. Next door are 174 luxury condominiums ranging from 75sq m studios to 250sq m penthouses. The complex, midway between Hoi An and Da Nang, also includes 27 sea-front pool villas.

Karen Lim, design director at RMJM, said: “We are most fortunate to be given an opportunity to design a hotel with an ideal balance between contemporary luxury and Vietnamese tradition.”
