Mackenzie Wheeler Architects’ new Canteen and Deli for the River Cottage in Plymouth has opened.

The outpost of the famous restaurant founded by Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall in 1998 is housed in a neo-classical, grade I-listed Georgian brewhouse.

It is part of the wider redevelopment of Royal William Yard by Urban Splash which will see the 0.4ha former naval yard turned into a mixed-use development of offices, shops and homes.
