The first phase of a new swimming pool in Hong Kong by Farrells has opened.

The zinc-clad structure will stand at the gateway into Kennedy Town and features two outdoor pools with views of Victoria Harbour and Belcher Bay Park.

Phase 2, which is scheduled to open in 2017, will include two indoor pools plus a pair of indoor Jacuzzis separated from phase 1 by a sliding glass wall.

The pool has been built on a former car park and has been commissioned by the Hong Kong Mass Transit Railway Corporation to replace an earlier facility which was knocked down to make way for a new metro station.
