Allies & Morrison has submitted plans for two 50 storey, residential-led towers in Vauxhall, south London.

The £400 million Vauxhall Square redevelopment for CLS Holdings will include 510 apartments, office space, 94 affordable homes, 416 student units and a 438 bed hotel.

The scheme, which will see the demolition of a 1980’s office building, also includes a new public square and a homeless hostel, as well as a four screen cinema.

Richard Tice, chief executive officer of CLS Holdings, said: “This substantial mixed-use scheme is a key element to the Vauxhall Nine Elms regeneration plans.”

Work is due to start on site in 2014, with phases being completed from 2017 onwards.
