BIG has been chosen as one of five finalists to build a new facility for the Kimball Art Centre in Park City in Utah.

The project will see the construction of a new arts centre for the non-profit organisation, focusing on educational outreach and increased exhibition space.

Also competing for the project are American firms Brooks & Scarpa, Sparano & Mooney Architecture, Tod Williams & Billie Tsien Architects and Will Bruder & Partners.

Models of the proposals will be on display until January 19 and the architects will make presentations to the jury in February.
