Brad Pitt said he wants one of his children to become an architect.

He told a US chat show he is “pushing” the six youngsters, aged three to 10, to take an interest in the profession - mainly by praising their drawing of houses.

He told Ellen DeGeneres: “I think I got one [into architecture]. Yeah, I’m pushing them that way. When you see them drawing crayon houses, ‘That’s a beautiful house,

honey’. Just keep pushing them.”

The actor is famously a fan of the profession, especially Rem Koolhaas and Frank Gehry, with whom he was rumoured to have collaborated on a project in Hove.

He is also working on a reconstruction project in New Orleans with his Make It Right foundation, though he said he was getting too much credit for it.

“This took a lot of very smart people coming in and attacking the situation,” he told the chat show host. “It took the families determined to come back and their

resilience and they’re defining what this thing was going to be. I get far too much credit for bringing some really smart people together.”
