A healthcare project by JM Architects has reached financial close under a scheme for NHS Grampian in Scotland.

The £24 million Aberdeen Community Health and Care Village (pictured) is part of a wider £435 million initiative to upgrade community facilities across northern Scotland and the neighbouring islands region over the next decade.

Built under the design, build, finance and maintain method, the 6,500sq m complex will be a diagnostic and treatment centre centring on day patients. A 185-space multi-storey car park is also being built, which will be run by the city council.

It will be managed by Hub North Scotland, which includes 18 local council and NHS authorities.
