Granite Paving is a popular thing to have done, but it is not something that you can do yourself. You need to hire someone to help you with a job like this. This type of paving looks great when it's done, but only if it is done correctly and you want it done correctly the first time. You need to make sure that you hire a professional that has experiences in this type of paving. You also want to make sure that you pay a fair price for a quality job and the only way to do that is to take your time while going through the hiring process.

A great way to start finding someone who will be good at meeting your Granite Paving needs is to create a list of candidates that you will research. You want to get a list of qualified candidates together. The best way to get this list is to ask your friends and family or others that you trust for a recommendation on a contractor that understands granite and how to pave with it.  You can look through the phone book, but you won't really be able to see how qualified the contractor is if you are getting their names from your phone directory.

Once you have a list of candidates you will need to start doing the research on each of the candidates that you have on your list. This means that you need create a list of questions that you plan to ask each of the candidates when you meet with them.  You want to make sure that you ask each candidate the same series of questions. This makes it much easier to compare their answers later when you need to make your decision about who you will hire.

You should meet with each candidate individually. You need to be able to ask them the questions you have and they need to be able to visit the job site so that they know what you will need them to do for you. You also won't be able to get a realistic bid from them if they have not been by to see the job site.

Once they have visited the job site and answered all your questions they need to get back to you with their bid and with a list of references. It is your job to follow up on the references provided to you. You should see if you can visit the references in person so you can really see the work that was done. You want to make sure that the quality of the work matches the price you are being asked to pay. Just because a contractor is expensive doesn't mean their work is the best.
