Granite is a stone commonly used in floors and countertops. It is much harder than most stones traditionally used in homes. Granite is easily damaged by acidic substances. Only Cleaners specifically manufactured for use on stones should be used.

Wipe up all spills immediately. Even sealed granite surfaces may stain if a spill is allowed to sit.

Mix baking soda and water into a solution if the granite is stained. Pour the solution over the stain. Scrub the stain with a microfiber cloth.

Apply warm water to a clean microfiber cloth. Wipe the entire surface of the granite with the cloth to clean off the baking soda. Go over every area several times.

Spray the surface of the granite with the stone cleaner.

Wipe the stone cleaner evenly over the granite with a microfiber cloth.

Use a clean microfiber cloth to completely dry the granite.
