Landscaping is a part of any home and adds to its personality. When a home is built on a hill or a slope, steps make it easy to travel in both directions. However, the slope does not have to be a steep one to install steps. They can be a complimentary addition to a home garden or patio to complete the personality that says something special about the home. Creating this look is not a difficult task, but it does require some physical effort.

Repeat Step 2 for the remaining steps making certain that each step is level and packed.

Set the flat stones in place. Mix the mortar according to the instructions on the bag.

Place the mortar in the spaces between the stones with the mortar trowel. Allow it to set before washing it to remove excess mortar.
