Marble is a material used in many areas of the bathroom, including the sink. For the most part marble will maintain itself, requiring a basic cleaning on occasion to remove dirt and residue. If your home has hard water, you may have water stains that dull the appearance of the marble by leaving a cloudy, unattractive water mark. Luckily, removing the water stains is an easy task.

1
Clean mild water stains by moistening a soft cleaning cloth with warm water and a drop of dish soap.

2
Rub the soapy cloth over the stains, applying pressure as needed until all stains are removed.

3
Saturate the edge of the cleaning cloth with white vinegar, and rub directly onto tough stains that are not removed with the soapy water.

4
Rinse the area with water after all stains have been removed to rinse any remaining vinegar or soapy residue.

5
Dry the sink with a soft cloth to prevent new stains from developing.
